Stonyfield’s New Frozen Yogurt Pearls and My Shoe Problem
As a Stonyfield Ambassador and as a Stonyfield fan, I’m super-excited to tell you about their new Frozen Yogurt Pearls. They are amazing! They taste great, are good for you and are good for the environment.
I have a closet full of shoes. Not shoes that I wear, mind you. These are shoes that I bought and either they were uncomfortable or impractical or I wore them so much that they have become shabby and pretty darned ugly.
I don’t get rid of any of them though. Or at least I didn’t until somebody started making it easier for me.
That somebody is the charity who kindly phones me once a month and lets me know that they’ll be in my neighborhood collecting gently used items and that I can leave a bagful on my front steps for them to take away.
I always say yes when they phone and then the night before they come I find myself scrambling to fill up a bag with things we no longer need. Shoes take up a lot of space and have become my go-to as a bag-filler. And so, my shoe problem is slowly disappearing.
I love when people make it easy for me to do something that is low on my priority list.
It’s like with the environment. I care about the environment. I really do. I believe in climate change and hope that we will come together to find ways to combat it. But even though I know it’s important, the everyday whirlwind of my family, my work and all the busy-ness of life cause the environment to drop lower on my priority list.
When someone makes it easy for me to be good to the environment I get as happy as I when I watch the charity truck drive away with my old shoes.
And this is why I love the Stonyfield’s new Frozen Yogurt pearls. The pearls make it easy for me to be kind to the environment.
Stonyfield frozen yogurt pearls are frozen yogurt in a fruit skin. The fruit skin is edible and very tasty. The good-for-the-environment part is that the pearls don’t require any additional packaging. The fruit skin is the only packaging. And it acts just like an actual fruit’s skin. It protects the frozen yogurt inside so you can transport them (in your own bag or box). Then you rinse the pearls (yes, that outer fruit skin is washable just like a real fruit’s skin which you rinse before eating). And then you dig in.
So you got rich creamy frozen yogurt inside a soft organic fruit coating that is tasty and so very good for the environment.
No packaging of any kind. Being good to the environment never was so easy. I love when people make it easy for me to do things. Which reminds me, I need to stop procrastinating by working on my blog and go start throwing shoes into a bag. The charity truck is coming tomorrow!
