How To Make Delicious Bean Dips

I’ve been going a bit video-crazy lately making fun little clips showing how recipes are made. Click to check out my video for a Shrimp Boil here and my video for Parmesan Roasted Potatoes and Vidalia Onions here. Today I have a video demonstrating how to make basic but delicious bean dips.

A Guacamole Recipe with Edamame instead of avocadoes! This Mexican Edamame Dip is lower fat and more protein than guacamole and is perfect for avocado-haters.

Last week I shared my recipe for a Mexican Edamame Bean Dip called Edamole with you. It’s a perfect dip for people who don’t like avocados (like my tastebud-less husband!) and for those who are watching their weight (like my self-control-less self!).

This dip is also healthy because, like all beans, edamame are high in protein and low in saturated fat. A bean dip is therefore a great alternative to one that uses fatty ingredients like cheese and bacon.

Today I’m sharing a short video with you about how my edamame dip was made. The video demonstrates a basic procedure that can be used to make all kinds of bean dips with different flavors and different beans.

Click play below to watch this short video and get the basics for making delicious bean dips that suit your taste.

So tell me, is your basic bean dip method different from mine? What are your favorite things to add to bean dip? And what are your favorite bean dip dippers?
