Free Printable Thank You Card

Read on to find out about the Free Printable Thank You Card that I’m offering to fans of Cook the Story this month.

After a party held at our home last December, I received a Thank You card in the mail (real mail, not email!). I was touched. The sender had taken the time to write inside about how much she’d enjoyed our hospitality, the lovely people she’d met and the tasty food she’d eaten.

I kept that Thank You card up on the mantel long after the Christmas cards had been put away.

I kept it there because it reminded me of the party we’d hosted but also because I’d been so surprised and delighted about my friend’s thoughtfulness. This year I decided that I would be just as thoughtful. To do so, I designed a Thank You Postcard. It’s like a regular Thank You card but it has space on the back for an address and postage. You seal it with a bit of tape and then it doesn’t require an envelope.

Front of Card: Thank You. “One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.” -Virginia Woolf

I’m kind of in love with it.

Did somebody welcome you into their home over the holidays? So that you can send a nice thank you to them I’ve put my Thank You Postcard up on Facebook so you can print it and mail it to them. I’m positive that your friend or family member will be delighted to hear from you about what a great time you had; it makes hosting a party worthwhile when you learn that your guests had a good time.

I don’t mind at all! It’s fun to get creative with the pictures we take for our blogs, isn’t it? Let me know what you end up doing. Can’t wait to see it.

It’s true. Now a days with the internet at our finger tips, it’s so easy just to send off a quick thank you email (which is thoughtful), but getting a hand written note makes it very special. Love the look of the card.
