I don’t have an ice cream maker. There. I admitted it. Everyone and their cat has one except for me.

See, I already have a fondue set and a pasta-maker sitting on a shelf in the garage wondering when they’ll be used. They have each other so I doubt they’re lonely. But who knows. Maybe they would enjoy the company of an ice cream maker.

This week on Christine & Katie (that’s the name of the weekly food talk show that I do with Katie from Katie’s Cucina) we talked all about ice cream with Samantha from Sweet Remedy. Sam and Katie are both supreme ice cream makers. They even managed to convince me that I needed my own ice cream maker.

I’m not sure what put me over the edge. I suspect it was Sam’s Green Tea Ice Cream that made me realize that I need an ice cream maker. I have therefore entered Katie’s Ice Cream Attachment Contest and Ice Cream Social.

If I don’t win, I might buy the attachment for myself anyhow. Maybe. I’ll just have to see if there’s room beside that fondue set first. (Just kidding. I’m sure I’d use it. Really. I would. I mean it. Totally. Every day. Every hour.)
